Each chart has its own separate rules. These rules will likely change as time goes on. Such changes will be posted when they come up.
Top 40 Charts
This chart consists of the top 40 songs according to me. Each song must be current (released as a single/promoted in the past year) and must be available for download. The total number of spins is added to the points received from chart position to achieve the points figure. (40 points awarded for 1st, down to 1 point for 40th.). The + spins column represents the weekly spins of that song. A debuting song will always have the same total spins and + spin figure since all previous spins are accounted for. Songs may re-enter the chart at any point if it had previously been charted as current. (A six year old song cannot enter the chart unless it has been in the chart before or has recently been re-promoted.)
Country Charts
This chart consists of the top 20 country songs at the time. There is no time limit that a song must have been released in order to be in this chart. (A forty year old song can enter the chart if I feel I like it enough.) Points are tallied the same way as the top 40 charts. This chart likely won't have much movement as old favourites will likely occupy the top tier of the chart.
Recurrent Charts
This chart consists of any song that is at least a year old (any single on this chart must have declared a single for at least a year in order to chart). Songs that were not singles are allowed to chart. One song may be on top 40 and recurrent charts at the same time if it is over a year old and still on the top 40 chart as well. This chart will likely have a lot of movement because it is basically determined by favourite song that isn't new.
Points Gainers and Records
The songs with the highest point gains of the week will be posted here. The top 20 songs with the highest point totals ever are posted here.
Spins Gainers and Records
The songs with the highest spin gains of the week will be posted here. The top 20 songs with the highest spin totals ever are posted here. (Songs do not have to chart on Top 40, country, or recurrent to end up here).
